Small Groups

At Grace you can learn through personal study or through group involvement. If you’re on a search to understand the basics and the relevance of Christianity, consider Grace’s Alpha courses. There are also small groups of men, women or couples meeting in homes or at the church for various studies about doing life with God. This provides opportunity to learn from each other’s personal experience. Small groups build friendships and in turn, build community.

There’s even a small group for those interested in becoming a member of Grace. Approximately twice a year membership classes introduce attendees to the church’s mission, structures and principles.

We wish to invite people from both inside and outside the church to join groups where we can build strong friendships through Christ’s power and grace. We want people to be known and cared for and to grow and develop into disciples who are making disciples.

If you’re one who likes to contribute your time and abilities we welcome your involvement. There are opportunities to serve on teams in a variety of roles which support the activities at Grace.

Grace Groups

Several types of small groups are needed to accommodate the variety of people and needs of our church congregation.

Although small groups can vary in their makeup, each adheres to some core values that guide the group members towards Christ-likeness. These core values are:

  • the study and application of God’s Word
  • prayer
  • care and mutual support
  • open to newcomers
  • leadership development through apprentice leaders
  • fellowship and encouragement
  • serving others
  • Mission Statement

  • To engage people from inside and outside the church into groups where through Christ’s power and grace, we can build strong relationships, be known, cared for, grow and develop, ultimately as disciples who are making disciples.

And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more, as you see the day drawing near.
