THE CHALLENGE

Our church is growing which means we are running out of room. This is a GOOD problem to have and we are thankful to the Lord for growing His church. That being said, this is a complicated challenge to work through of which we are leaning heavily on the Lord to lead our church on how to sustainably, responsibly, and effectively grow.

We believe as followers of Jesus, and connected to our core church mission we have a part to play in sharing the gospel and good news to those who are lost. This is why we included the “Make Room” Goal in the 2025-2026 Strategic Plan. The objective was to form a team to recommend solutions by March of 2026 to our present facility space challenges.  Coming out of that meeting, a Make Room 2 Team was created to bring together the final details and financial analysis for the elders and board of directors and to present those findings to the members for their input to enable a decision targeted for October 2026.

NEXT STEPS

Over the summer, we'll be sharing a series of updates about the Make Room initiative and the work that has been done to prayerfully discern the best long-term facility solution for our church. We recognize that this is an important decision that will shape the future of our ministry for years to come, and we want everyone in our church family to understand not only the recommendations being considered, but also the thoughtful process that has brought us to this point. Each communication email, we'll walk through a different stage of the journey—from why this initiative began, to the options that were explored, how they were evaluated, and how we arrived at the final options. Our hope is that these updates will provide clarity, answer questions, and help our church move forward together with confidence, unity, and a shared commitment to seeking God's wisdom for the future.
