The EA Team is currently in the process of considering the following question:

• How does Scripture inform the decision for elders at Grace Community Church to be men OR men & women?

This process involves prayer, reading of scripture, learning from resources of varying opinions (books, sermons, etc), and inviting a variety of church leaders to speak with us.

We believe that another important part of the process is to invite individuals of our church family to share their feedback. We had a congregational input session late last fall and are now hosting a second input session.

We would like to invite interested individuals to a gathering at Grace Community Church on Thursday February 23rd at 7:00pm in the community room. 

We are asking that interested individuals come prepared to share their feedback to the EA Team. To allow space for a variety of voices, we are asking for prepared feedback to be shared within 5-7 minutes. We highly encourage individuals to write their thoughts down to allow your input to be reviewed. To clarify, this will not be a time for questions and answers of the EA Team. This will be a time for the EA Team to listen and hear the voices of Grace Community Church.  

To determine the logistics of the evening, we are asking individuals to RSVP by Sunday February 20th via this online form.  We recognize that some individuals will be interested in attending the gathering to speak, others may be interested for the purpose of listening and prayer, and some may be unable to attend but wish to submit feedback to be read aloud. We are asking that you include this information in your RSVP.
