Helping a Neighbour Through a Difficult Season

Through your connections outside of the church, you let us know about a senior who is caring for her adult daughter with special needs is working hard to get established after moving to Guelph about six months ago. As they adjust to a new city, she has been attending a local food bank and a Monday morning coffee program to connect with others and build community.

Living on a limited income while supporting her daughter had made it difficult to keep up with rising living expenses, and she had fallen behind on a $400 water bill.

Through our outreach fund, we were able to cover this $400 need, helping relieve some immediate pressure. Her financial situation is expected to improve once she turns 65, but this support helped bridge the gap during a challenging season.

Thank you for your continued generosity to Grace Community Church and for keeping your eyes and ears open for needs around you!
